Central "King" Bookens is an American hip hop artist known for his early 1990's flow, witty punchlines and triumphant bars over beats. Born in Goldsboro NC and raised by aunts and uncles. Bookens upbringing was a rocky one from incarceration to grinding after release and burial of loved ones. The hip hop artists life experiences have shaped his musical career and pushed him to grind harder to achieve his dreams proving that age is not a stumbling block but a stepping stone towards future success. Music was always the one thing that kept him inspired. Musical inspirations has driven him to continue inspiring others including wayward youth by spreading joy,hope, and
encouragement. King leads by example when the younger generations have little to no hope.
King's life experiences allow him to be a voice and at the same time keeping it hood and reaching others who may be struggling from the same conditions he endured.
